Breaking news: Plane crashes in the Thames due to two drones

BREAKING: British Transport Police is now investigating the US132 case. A recent examination of the plane’s engines has found drone debris. BTP reports that the cause of the collision might have been two drones 1,500 m east of London City.

BTP is now working to recover the aircraft for the Air Accidents Investigation Branch.


BREAKING: A recent tweet from Essex Police reports that all passengers and crew are now ashore. One passenger is being taken to Queens Hospital, suspected of a heart attack due to the crash.

Arrangements have been made to let the passengers go back home to their families or back to London City Airport for an onward journey.


BREAKING: Purefleet Heritage and Military Centre was able to help the Essex police, ambulance, and RNLI by hosting the passengers involved in the airplane accident.
They are offering them phones as well as WiFi to allow them to call their families to ensure that they are alive. The Military Centre is also providing them with food and drinks. The tweet concludes with: ” Can’t believe everyone got out alive.”


BREAKING: Essex Police was able to provide us with more information on the well-being of the passengers.

The first passengers are finally able to escape from the airplane and are brought ashore on life rafts by the RNLI. The Essex ambulance crews are now carrying out medical checks. US Airways also reported that there were a total of 42 passengers on the plane and 6 crew. Two of those passengers are now being treated for minor injuries.

BREAKING: A possible passenger Nadine Johnson Recently shared his thoughts on a tweet, she congratulated the pilot for saving all the passengers on flight US132 by landing in the Thames.
She adds: ” I did not expect to spend my birthday on the wing of a plane in the middle of the Thames”.


BREAKING 2.31: London City Airport confirms their radar lost contact with the flight US132. LCA was able to identify the flight which was departing from LCY and was going to land at AMS. The flight had just taken off from London City Airport when the accident happened, The pilot wanted to land back at the airport but the bad conditions of the engine forced him to land in water.


BREAKING: A more recent tweet from the London Fire Service confirmed the incident and added that all emergency services are attending the plane crash aiming to help the victims and to gain more information on the case.


The emergency services are supported by units from Kent and Essex, with the help of the Thames River Police and the Royal Nationa Lifeboat Institution. With the contribution of these services, we will be able to receive new information on the terrible incident.


BREAKING 2.30: A recent tweet posted by “River Watcher” reports that a U.S Airways plane just crashed in the Thames, near Rainham Marshes.
The police are investigating on the case to understand what might have caused the incident. We currently have no information about the well-being of the passengers nor if there were potential victims involved.
